At Dream Cake Shop, we want your baking experience to be as perfect as your creations. If something isn’t quite right with your order, our returns policy is here to help – as sweet and straightforward as a vanilla sponge recipe!

Our Return Promise

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery for most items. Just like checking if your cake is done with a toothpick, we’ve made the process simple:

Non-Returnable Items

To ensure food safety, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Edible products (Cake Mixes, Edible Cake Decorations, Edible Colour Sprays, Edible Food Pens, Edible Glitter, Edible Paints, Flavouring & Extracts)
  • Personalized or custom-made items
  • Opened or used products (unless defective)

How to Return Your Items

Follow these easy steps for a smooth return process:

  1. Contact Us within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
  2. Wait for Approval – Our baking elves will review your request within 2 business days
  3. Package Your Items – Return items in their original packaging with all tags attached
  4. Ship It Back – Send to: Dream Cake Shop Returns, 1570 Mulberry Lane, Miami, US 33131
  5. Get Your Refund – Once received and inspected, we’ll process your refund within 5 business days

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we can’t be responsible for lost return packages.

Refund Information

Your refund will be processed within 5 business days after we receive your return. The refund will be issued to your original payment method:

  • Credit card refunds: 3-5 business days to appear on your statement
  • PayPal refunds: Typically appear within 24 hours

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our mistake.

Exchange Policy

Need a different size or color? Exchanges follow the same process as returns. Please indicate what you’d like to exchange for in your email.

For exchanges of different value:

  • If the new item costs more, we’ll invoice you for the difference
  • If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference

Damaged or Defective Items

If your baking supplies arrive damaged or defective, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and cover return shipping costs.
