The former can be used with a wide range of decorating materials including: sugar paste/fondant, flower paste, modelling paste, modelling chocolate, marzipan and more.
If modelling your cup and saucer using sugar paste, you may need to add a little CMC Tylo powder so that it dries firmer and holds its shape.
Once you have made your cup and saucer, you could use edible paints, markers or stencils to customise the overall look to suit the occasion.

The set consists of 2 polystyrene formers, one for the cup and one for the saucer which are much better than trying to form your cup over a regular porcelain cup or bowl as it allows the inside of your decorating medium to breathe, so it will dry quicker, saving you time.
It is also much easier than trying to model free hand, giving you a more accurate shape and once again saving you loads of time.
To create the handle you can either design your own from scratch or alternatively Zee Chik also offers a cup handle mould which also comes with additional decorations.
